How the Tools Work
Step 1 – Select KDP Settings
Choose the details of your book: trim size, DPI, and whether your artwork needs bleed. Every result is calculated from these settings, so pick them to match your KDP setup.
Step 2 – Upload
Add your image, or your interior PDF for the page size checker. The image tools work in your browser, so your artwork stays on your device.
Run the tool. The checker measures your image’s pixels and effective DPI, the resizer and bulk formatter prepare your images at your chosen size, and the interior checker compares your PDF’s page dimensions with the expected size.
Step 4 – Review
See the actual dimensions, resolution and any warnings, not just a pass or fail. If something falls short, you’ll know what to fix before you upload to KDP.
Step 5 – Download
Save your formatted images and place them in your manuscript. Then check your finished interior PDF before you submit.
Not sure where to start? Begin with the KDP Image Printability Checker to test an image, or the KDP Interior Page Size & Bleed Checker to test your PDF.
